Behavior & Golden Rules

At Oxford English School, we believe that every member of our school community deserves a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Our core values are built on the foundation of mutual respect, responsibility, and integrity, ensuring that all students feel secure and empowered to learn and grow.

Every student at Oxford English School has the following fundamental rights:
  • The right to feel physically and emotionally safe within the school environment.
  • The right to be treated with respect and dignity by peers, teachers, and staff.
  • The right to learn without unnecessary disruptions, allowing every child to reach their full potential.

With these rights come responsibilities. We expect every student to uphold these values and contribute to a harmonious and positive learning atmosphere by following our Golden Rules:

  • Be gentle - Treat others with kindness and avoid hurting anyone.
  • Be kind and helpful - Support and encourage your peers.
  • Work hard - Stay focused and put in your best effort in all tasks.
  • Respect property - Take care of school belongings and personal items.
  • Listen to others - Show consideration and understanding when others speak.
  • Be honest - Act with integrity and take responsibility for your actions.

Our rules are positive and proactive, aiming to guide and encourage students rather than reprimand them. By fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and collaboration, we create a school environment where every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.
